Hey there! I’ve got some bittersweet news about a punk band you might love.
Unfortunately, Lambrini Girls won’t be hitting the stage at the upcoming Coachella 2026.
The reason? Their lead vocalist, Phoebe Lunny, has suffered a neck fracture along with an acute brain injury.
“We are so gutted, guys,” Phoebe expressed in her heartfelt Instagram post on April 8. “We want to be there so badly.”
She further elaborated, “If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it,” referencing that iconic 2015 gig where the Foo Fighters frontman performed while seated after breaking his fibula. “This isn’t something we are taking lightly and we are really sad.”
Phoebe went on to say, “Because it is my neck and brain, our hands are tied for now.”
As for the details of her injury, Phoebe shared that it happened while she was in Australia, and unfortunately, it wasn’t diagnosed correctly at first, which led to her seeking “late treatment.”
“Doctor’s orders are that I can’t fly or perform for six weeks,” the U.K.-based artist said. “But I’m lucky and expect a speedy recovery, thank f–k lol.”
