Maintaining creative control, Ware A&R’d the record herself and collaborated with notable talents, including Barney Lister, Karma Kid, Jon Shave, and Stuart Price. The album was mixed by Ben Baptie, known for his work with artists such as Sault and Adele. This process continues Ware’s practice of hands-on involvement in her music since 2020.
