Kristin had a strong feeling that her husband, who graduated from USC’s law school, would embrace fatherhood, and she was over the moon when he proved her right. They welcomed their first child, Liam, in July 2017, and added a new addition, Charlie, to their family just two years later.
“He’s incredibly involved with our kids,” Kristin shared with People about her husband, a fellow Southern California native. “He brings the characters to life with funny voices when reading to them and takes on the coaching role for all their teams. It has been such a joy to parent alongside him.”
Reflecting on her past love triangle days from Laguna Beach, Kristin emphasizes that a strong marriage is built on effective communication. “We had to figure out how each of us expresses ourselves,” she admitted to People. “It took some time, but it makes for a fun and easy relationship. There will always be challenges, but if we can tackle them together and calmly discuss things, it’s really rewarding. I’ve done it the other way, and believe me, it’s no picnic.”
