Method
- Set up three shallow bowls: flour with salt and pepper in the first, beaten eggs in the second, panko mixed with garlic powder and paprika in the third.
- Coat each chicken tender in flour, then egg, then panko. Press the panko firmly so it sticks.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
- Place tenders in a single layer in the basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket — cook in batches if needed. A light spray of cooking oil on the breading before cooking gives an extra golden crust. Internal temperature should reach 165°F.
