Method
- Combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, and sweetener in a mason jar or container.
- Stir well, making sure the chia seeds are distributed evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In the morning, stir and add fruit and any additional toppings.
- Eat cold straight from the jar or microwave for 1 to 2 minutes if you prefer it warm.
Notes
Overnight oats keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Make 5 jars on Sunday night and breakfast is handled for the entire work week. Old-fashioned oats work best — quick oats get too mushy.
